Personal Information
Some functions and services we offer through our website require that you provide personal information. For example, when you order a product, request franchise information, or request a catalog, we need your name, postal and/or e-mail address, and (to fill an order) credit card information. Marketing and Promotions
When you order products from us or one of our licensed shoppes, we assume you intend to become a repeat customer. We therefore add your name and e-mail address to our marketing database so that we can occasionally send you messages about our holiday specials and new products. We also assume that people to whom you send our products will want to order from us, and we add their contact information to our marketing database, too.

Credit Cards
Our shoppes use credit card numbers submitted to them through our website for payment purposes only and not for marketing purposes. We use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption technology to protect your credit card number, name and address. An unbroken key or closed lock (depending on your browser, look at the lower right-hand corner of your browser window) indicates that the SSL is active.

E-mail and Postal Correspondence
If you send us or any of our shoppes an e-mail message, we may retain that message, as well as any response we send you. We will also add your e-mail address to our marketing database. We may provide our shoppes aggregate statistics about our customer traffic patterns and related website information. We may also provide these statistics to reputable third parties for analysis, but the statistics will include no information that allows anyone to identify you personally.

Cookies by Design®'s CookiEmail™ is sent to anyone who provides their email address by requesting a catalog, franchise information, or placing an order through our website www.cookiesbydesign.com and www.cookiebouquet.com or by placing an order at one of our shoppe locations. Online Policy for Individuals 17 Years Old and Under
We designed our website as a general audience site; it is not directed specifically to children. We provide keyword search functions in some areas of our website as a convenience to our users. We do not collect your name or email address as a result of your using a search feature, nor do we tabulate and connect search terms to specific individuals.
